Hard gel — often called builder gel — is a thick gel sculpted onto your natural nail or extensions, then cured under a lamp. It builds serious strength without the weight or odor of acrylic, and it looks like your real nails, only better.

Hard Gel vs. Acrylic vs. Gel-X

Compared to acrylic, hard gel is lighter and more natural-looking with no harsh fumes. Compared to Gel-X (a pre-shaped soft-gel tip), hard gel is sculpted custom to your nail — better for correcting shape, building extreme length, and strengthening problem nails.
